Southern California Commercial and Real Estate Transactions
Our attorneys represent companies and high net worth individuals in business and real estate transactions. Our experience includes representing a client in the sale of a Southern California oil company to a publicly traded company in Houston for $119 million, the sale of multiple auto dealerships in Southern California in a transaction with a public company valued at more than $28 million, and the sale of a commercial real estate building for $17 million.
At McQueen & Ashman LLP, our lawyers have an average of over 20 years of experience. The difference between McQueen & Ashman LLP and large law firms is that we offer that expertise at small-firm pricing and with a client-first approach. For example, our attorneys completed a business sale in which the other party was represented by one of the largest law firms in the country. The other party to the transaction spent more than $600,000 in legal fees. We handled our client’s side of the transaction for a fraction of that expense. The main difference: the large firm had nine lawyers handling the transaction, including junior associates who were learning along the way. Our client was represented by three senior-level attorneys.
Our attorneys take pride in handling large corporate and business transactions economically. We know that businesses need aggressive attorneys to protect their interests when millions of dollars are at stake. Our years of experience have taught us how to structure transactions that will stand the test of litigation. However, as business owners ourselves, we know that our clients do not need legal services that are duplicative or unnecessary. We can handle your business or real estate transaction less expensively and more efficiently than a traditional large law firm.
In addition to transactions, we also represent clients in the formation and operation of corporations and limited liability corporations and partnerships.
